Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt and Uncle in New York New York. When Bassett was around five the family were moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to live with their mother who had divorced from their father. Bassett was at the age of high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal to become an actor been born. She was a student at Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
